The microBand Decoder™ is a device
which gathers information about the operating frequency from the radio's serial communication port,
the radio's band data port or the computer parallel port. It uses this information to control
frequency dependent devices such as band pass filters, antenna switches, stubs, power amplifiers,
etc. This device is an essential part of the station setup for every contester!
microBand Decoder can listen to the communication
between radio and computer and exact needed frequency information.
If the radio is not communicating with computer (computer is OFF or logging
software not running), the decoder will poll the radio to acquire the needed
information. With microBand Decoder you will never forget
to switch something when changing bands! You'll be on the air with proper
antennas, bandpass filters and stubs even if your computer locks up.
micro Band Decoder™ is the first band decoder
on market able to work with Kenwood radios without help of computer.
It is the only band decoder able to automatically split the band in order to
select another antenna (for example, 80/75m) or automatically select the
appropriate matching network. It is one of a very few band decoders
able to acquire the exact frequency information from Icom transceivers and
decode the WARC bands. micro Band Decoder™ is the
first band decoder with 60m band decoding.
Package includes: micro Band Decoder™, DC plug,
printed manual, microHAM Device Configurator™ software on CD-ROM and PCCOM1 cable.

generates band data from radios
which do not produce band information without computer (Kenwood's, Icom's on
WARC bands), and makes it possible to track bands on automatic power
amplifiers like VL1000, FL7000, IC-PW1 etc. |
Fully configurable:
microBand Decoder is based on a microcontroller
with flash memory which enables upgrading the firmware (software defined decoder), so adding new features to
the decoder is as easily as upgrading any computer software. micro Band Decoder is configured by
microHAM Device Configurator software.
All of the configuration parameters (transceiver, CW & PTT source,
decoder outputs etc.) are stored in non-volatile memory and they remain active until
you change them.
Take a look on screen shots of
microHAM Device Configurator, or
download it and try all the features of micro
